AXIS Performance Assessment
AXIS Performance Assessment
Start with the dancer in front of us—not a one-size-fits-all program.
The AXIS Performance Assessment is the recommended starting point for dancers who want a more individualized performance-training plan with Cassidy.
What We Look At
- Core control and trunk stability
- Alignment and movement quality
- Active mobility and usable range of motion
- Flexibility and end-range control
- Hip, ankle, shoulder, and spinal mobility as relevant to dance demands
- Balance and single-leg control
- Dancer-specific strength and stability
- Turnout support and ballet-conditioning needs
- Jump, landing, and acro-preparation demands when appropriate
- Current training load and individual goals
What Happens Next
1. Assess. Identify the dancer’s current strengths, limitations, and priorities.
2. Build. Create a focused training plan using the appropriate AXIS foundations.
3. Progress. Continue with private, semi-private, or small-group AXIS sessions and reassess as the dancer develops.
Train Toward
Higher and more controlled extensions, stronger turns, cleaner lines, improved stability, stronger landings, better stamina, usable flexibility, and greater physical confidence in demanding choreography.
